Farm Description: 10.5 Acre year-round greenhouse plus 8 acres of outside flowers; 250 acre farm specializing in wholesome farm food direct to consumer: meats, cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and baked goods. Our own retail farm market on site or delivery points in Woodstock, Fredericton, and Moncton and Saint John.

Address: 56 Crabbe Road, Northampton, N.B. On Route 105 it is 11 km. from Woodstock and 25 km. from Nackawic.

The Sunrise Farm – a community agriculture learning centre
Hosts: Bob Parkinson
Farm Type: Mixed farm (animals and crops)
Farm Description: Sunrise is a community agricultural learning centre, open to schools, organizations and individuals to use for their own educational, employment, production, training, research and/or recreational purposes. Home to beef and dairy cattle and chickens, the farm is owned by the Parkinson family who are long-time dairy farmers. The project concept is managed by Sunrise Partners for Agriculture Development and Education (SPADE), a provincial non-profit organization focused on providing programs for persons on social assistance – but the site is open to all. It is funded in part by the Province of New Brunswick, the sale of milk and poultry with other products being developed.
Activity: Sunrise invites you to tour the farm, meet the animals and the folks, and get some ideas for your own agriculture-related projects.
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Address: 299 Campbell Settlement, just below Woodstock. Take Exit 188 off the TCH to Route 555 west, then to Campbell Settlement Road just past Richmond Corner – about a 10-minute drive.
